Robert Russo, 32, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, is a Real Estate and Land Use Attorney based in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Rob also specializes in Trusts & Estates, Family Law, Small Business Law, Election Law, Aviation Law and Civil Litigation. He is also on the Board of the Red Cross of Mid-Fairfield County, Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo, and he is a volunteer for the Bridgeport School Volunteer Association. On March 11, 2008, Rob was elected to represent Bridgeport, Trumbull and Monroe in the State Senate.
Previously, Robert has served as the Director of Governor M. Jodi Rell’s Fairfield County office and as Deputy Chief of Staff to United States Congressman Christopher Shays in his Washington, D.C. office. Robert has run numerous political campaigns, including his own bids for the State Senate in 2004 and 2006. Before moving home to Connecticut from Washington, Robert was the Director of Business Operations of Luntz Research, where he worked with renowned pollster and communications consultant Frank Luntz on clients ranging from Merrill Lynch to former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
After graduating Choate Rosemary Hall Prepatory School, Robert attended Georgetown University where he graduated in 1997 with a major in American Government. Robert later graduated from Fordham Law School in 2004 and was admitted to the Connecticut and Federal Bar later that year.
