Senator Rob Kane (R-32) is encouraging constituents to keep up with what is happening in the General Assembly and the 32nd District - Bethlehem, Bridgewater, Middlebury, Oxford, Seymour, Southbury, Thomaston, Roxbury, Watertown and Woodbury – by checking out his blog at www.senatorkane.blogstpot.com.
“This is another convenient way for constituents to keep up with what is happening, and share their concerns and ideas about proposed legislation and issues that interest them. Of course, constituents will always have the option of communicating with me in more traditional ways, but writing the blog is fun and I hope that constituents will find it interesting,” said Senator Kane.
Besides his profile and entries, Senator Kane’s blog includes links to his page on the Connecticut General Assembly website, his Facebook page and Senate Republican YouTube videos.
“There are a lot of extremely important issues facing our state, especially the communities in the 32nd Senatorial District. I set up this blog because I want to make sure that my constituents can take advantage of the many different ways of keeping in touch with me that the internet age makes possible. The important thing is that they continue sharing their ideas with me – if not through the blog, then through phone calls, e-mail and traditional mail. I look forward to hearing from my constituents any way they want to get in touch,” said Senator Kane.
Senator Kane can be reached at his legislative office in Hartford at 1-800-842-1421, via e-mail to Rob.Kane@cga.ct.gov, via traditional mail addressed to him at Room 2003, Legislative Office Building, Hartford, CT 06106-1591, and now through his blog at www.senatorkane.blogspot.com
