According to Sen. Guglielmo, the call for
the Governor’s resignation is not an easy one, but
“would be in the very best interests of the people
of the State of Connecticut.”
“We are all saddened by the events
that are unfolding,” said Sen. Guglielmo. “Upon
reflection, I do believe the Governor when he says that
he is sorry for what he has done, but as the Chief Executive
of our state he must have the trust of the people in order
to have the ability to govern. He has lost that trust.”
“There are too many important issues
facing the state of Connecticut, we need to focus our attention
on these issues not the controversy that surrounds the Governor.”
Sen. Guglielmo, is serving in his sixth
term representing the 35th Senatorial District.
