"I fully support Governor Rell in her decision to allow the execution of Michael Ross to move forward. Connecticut law holds that Ross's unspeakable crimes warrant the highest penalty, and I believe it would be improper for the state to delay any further in a case that has played out every possible avenue of appeal. The families of these victims deserve closure, and dragging this situation out further seems unfair and unnecessary. Governor Rell has done the right thing by upholding state law and ensuring that justice is served." |
