Senator Sam Caligiuri (R-16) will discuss the criminal justice reform legislation passed by the General Assembly during this past week’s special session on Connecticut Public Television’s upcoming “On The Record”  program.  

“On The Record”, a weekly public affairs program featuring interviews with Connecticut legislators and policymakers, is hosted by Steve Kotchko.

Senator Caligiuri is a strong proponent of the need for Connecticut to adopt a strong, responsible, workable three strikes law that would require mandatory life imprisonment of those convicted of a third serious violent felony. Also featured as a guest on the upcoming “On The Record” is the legislature’s co-chair of the Judiciary Committee, Representative Mike Lawlor.

“On The Record” will be shown on CPTV at 9 p.m., Friday, January 25th; at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, January 27th, and at 11:30 p.m., Monday, January 28th.  Also, the Connecticut Network (CT-N) will show the program.
